Primary Responsibilities:
• The Finance manager provides vital accounting information to help management make informed business decisions.
• The Finance manager provides accounting information that will benefit shareholders and creditors.
• The Finance manager provides forward-looking, and historical accounting information.
Job description:
1. Contributing to strategic planning and development as a member of executive management team.
2. Business and financial strategy and planning, monitoring, management and reporting, including management and development of policies, systems, processes and personnel involved.
3. Financial staff management, including selection, recruitment, training and motivation
4. Reporting to the GM in China and to the Group CFO in Italy
5. Responsible for Finance function
6. Responsible for HR function
7. Responsible for the implementation of the ERP software
8. Fully responsible for the legal entity financial reporting to corporate (according IFRS), for reporting to the Chinese authorities (Chinese GAAP), and tax reporting
9. Liaison with external auditors for the preparation of the annual statutory accounts
10. Supervise the preparation of different tax declaration of the company,
11. In charge of annual budgeting process, rolling forecast process, management reporting
12. Responsible for the cash flow planning and for contacting financial institution (domestic and foreign banks, factoring companies, leasing agencies, financial intermediaries)
13. Coordinate with Corporate Tax department for tax planning activities, tax audits, liaison with external tax consultants, prepared transfer price documentation according requirements of new China EIT law.
14. Coordinate with Corporate Legal department for legal issues
15. Other areas of potential responsibility are: company insurance, import/export administration, contracts and agreements, legal areas and activities, corporate level negotiations (e.g. premises, plant, trading, acquisitions and divestments, disposals), major supplier/customer/partner relationships, government bodies relationships, approvals and accreditations.
The Successful Applicant:
• European or regional expat (Hong Kong, Singapore etc.)
• 35 years old and above
• 8 to 10 years working experience in a foreign invested enterprise in China, preferable 5 in a managerial position
• Familiar with manufacturing companies processes
• Excellent professional Ethics
• Proven track record of business improvement and analysis combined with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
• Fluent English, other European languages are a plus
• Chinese language capabilities are a plus
• ERP experience (SAP a plus)
• ACCA/CPA qualifications are a plus.
