”To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” (Colossians 1:27)

(二) 這盼望是永不致令我們羞愧的【或作:永不會令我們失望的】
This hope will never cause us shame (Or: never disappoint us)
— 是『確定的』盼望(林後1:7)
It is a “steadfast” hope (2 Corinthians 1:7)
— 是『美好的』盼望(帖後2:16)
It is a “good” hope (2 Thessalonians 2:16)
— 是『活潑的』盼望(彼前1:3)
It is a “living” hope (1 Peter 1:3)
— 是『永生的』盼望(多3:7)
It is an “eternal” hope (Titus 3:7)
— 是『可誇的』盼望(來3:6)
It is a “boastful” hope (Hebrews 3:6)
(三) 為著這榮耀的盼望,我們當更加的—『信從主耶穌,親愛眾聖徒』
Because of this glorious hope, we should increase evermore in our “faith in Lord Jesus, and love for all the saints”
”for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ… 13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14 I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:8, 13-14)
”according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” (Philippians 1:20-21)
”For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ… The Lord is at hand.” (Philippians 3:20; 4:5b).
