2011年美国AP考试将从2月21日至3月4日开始接受上海地区考生报名。上海电视大学继续教育学院是美国大学理事会和中国教育部考试中心授权的上海地区唯一承接AP考试的机构（考场代码996959）。请计划参加2011年度美国AP考试的考生按照报名要求，前往上海电视大学继续教育学院现场报名，地址：上海市国顺路288号综合楼301室（地铁10号线国权路站下）。
1、报名时间：2011年2月21日至3月4日（不含国家法定休息日），
上午9：00 — 11：30，下午1：00 — 5：00。逾期将不再接受报名
2、报名要求：
1）凡高二以上，21周岁（含）以下，非AP学校学生，需持有所在高中、大学相应科目教师的证明信报名。证明信用于证明在该教师的指导下完成AP该科目的全过程学习，信中必须注明该教师的联系电话、Email地址和学校名称。
2）考生身体健康，能够在不借助特殊工具的情况下独立完成考试。
3）考生保证提交的所有证件及填写的全部报名信息的真实性与准确性，否则将由考生本人承担由此引起的一切后果。
4）《2011年AP考试考生报名表》（AP Registration Form）需从 www.apchina.net.cn 下载，在计算机上填写并打印，手写签名确认。此表一经提交后，即视为有效，不可更改。

2010年开始，美国大学理事会(TheCollegeBoard)与中国教育部考试中心合作，正式在中国开设AP项目(AdvancedPlacem ent Program )考试。从2011年起，AP法语、AP德语、AP世界历史、AP生物学、AP拉丁语、AP西班牙语、AP美国历史将陆续更改教学大纲和考试内容。AP课程考试大纲更改的具体时间安排是：2011-2012年，修订AP法语、AP德语、AP世界历史教学大纲，2012年5月份的考试内容将按新大纲要求更改;2012-2013年修订AP生物学、AP拉丁语、AP西班牙语教学大纲，2013年5月份的考试内容将按新大纲要求更改;2013-2014年修订AP美国历史教学大纲，2014年5月份的考试内容将按新大纲要求更改;AP化学和AP物理B也在计划更改范围内，具体时间另行通知。
